The weAudit Process

What Happens After You Request an Audit

Simple. Transparent. No smoke. No jargon. Here’s exactly what we do — and how we do it — to find every dollar you’ve been overcharged.

1 Step One

Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MDA)

If requested by you, we’ll execute an MDA before anything else is shared. Your business data is confidential — and we take that seriously before we ever see a single statement.

“weAudit.com is the only company every company needs.”

2 Step Two

Secure Document Collection

You have three easy ways to get your statements to us:

1
Upload directly to our secure portal — click here to access it.
2
Send them to your Client Service Rep — they’ll upload everything for you.
3
For larger files, we’ll send you a direct upload link to our portal.

What should you upload? The more we know, the more we can advise. At minimum, send one month — but here’s our guidance:

  • One month of statements is a solid starting point.
  • Three months gives us a much better picture — and a stronger case.
  • If you have more than 5 MIDs, please include a chain statement.
  • For a deeper dive, include your merchant processing agreement.
  • If you accept ACH payments — include your ACH statement.
  • If you have payment gateway fees — include that statement too.
3 Step Three

Deep Audit & Analysis

Your data is secure. Unlike other companies in this space, we don’t use third parties or outsource our audits. Everything is kept in-house inside our proprietary systems.

Timeline: 7–10 business days, depending on volume.

Interchange Issues

  • Missed qualifications
  • Incorrect interchange flags
  • Incorrect MCC codes
  • Incorrect shopping carts
  • Incorrect payment gateways

Processor Markups

  • Hidden fees
  • Made-up fees
  • Inflated fees
  • Kept interchange rebates
  • Forced downgrades

Compliance & Contract

  • PCI compliance issues
  • Contract violations (if submitted)
  • Incorrect setups
🏷️
We also put your account out for a blind bid — so if you decide to change processors or payment gateways, we already have options lined up, not just a cost forecast. They know your numbers, but not your name. You’ll never be identified unless you choose to move forward with their bid.
4 Step Four

Audit Findings Review Call

  • You’ll receive an email to schedule your audit review at a time that works for you.
  • We’ll share our screen and walk through every line item — showing exactly how you’ve been overbilled and the financial impact.
  • We cover recommended corrective actions.
  • We explain our fees clearly — and as a spoiler: we do not take a percentage of your savings.
  • Everything is explained in plain English. No smoke. No jargon.

After the call, you’ll receive an email with:

  • A link to your audit findings — e-sign to hire us when you’re ready.
  • A link to your Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) — if you decide to hire us.
  • A link to post your first payment — if you decide to move forward.
5 Step Five

Should You Decide to Hire Us

  • Love-the-Results-or-Don’t-Pay 60-Day Guarantee — 60 days to decide if we’re the right fit. Zero risk.
  • We have a heart-to-heart to make sure we move forward the way you want — we work for you, and we never forget that.
  • You decide how aggressive we are — or aren’t. You decide whether we work things out with your incumbent or entertain a new bidder.
  • We work directly with the processor or new bidder to vet and negotiate every term and fee on your behalf.
  • We are month-to-month. If we’re not a good fit, you let us go — just like any other employee. Except we don’t get severance.
We are not here to sell you processing. We are not here to tell you what to do. We are here to give you data, advice, and clarity — and let you decide how to move forward, and whether we’re the right fit for your company.
Love-the-Results-or-Don’t-Pay — 60-Day Guarantee No long-term contracts. No percentage of savings. No risk.
Frequently Asked Questions
A MID — or Merchant ID — is the unique identifier assigned to each of your merchant processing accounts. If you have multiple locations, business entities, or processing environments, each typically has its own MID. The more MIDs you have, the more exposure there is to overbilling across accounts.
A chain statement is a consolidated summary report that covers all of your MIDs in one document. Processors typically provide these for merchants with five or more locations or accounts. It gives us — and you — a bird’s-eye view of your full processing picture, rather than reviewing each account individually.
We handle it directly. You hired us to make your life easier — not harder. And going back and forth with a credit card processor you’re trying to recover money from is not a fun day at the office. They are masters at holding on to every penny, deflecting, delaying, and making concessions sound far more generous than they actually are.

Here’s what makes us different: our team is made up of former executives from Fifth Third Processing Solutions, later Vantiv and Worldpay, now part of Global Payments, the world’s largest card processor. We didn’t learn their playbook — we helped write it. We know exactly where they have room to move, what they’ll fight to protect, and how to get you a permanent correction rather than a one-time courtesy credit that disappears next month.
The initial audit is completely free. Our ongoing engagement fees are flat and transparent — we never take a percentage of your savings. You can view our full pricing at the bottom of our homepage. We’ll also walk through everything clearly during your findings review call. No surprises, no hidden billing. We operate the same way we expect your processor to.
A Limited Power of Attorney authorizes weAudit to act on your behalf in specific, defined matters — in this case, communicating and negotiating with your processor. It is limited in scope. It does not give us authority over your bank accounts, business decisions, or anything outside of your merchant processing relationship.
No. We are month-to-month. If you decide we’re not the right fit at any point, you move on — no cancellation fees, no penalties, no hassle. We stay because we earn it every month, not because you’re trapped.
That’s what our 60-day Love-the-Results-or-Don’t-Pay Guarantee is for. If you’re not satisfied within the first 60 days, you don’t pay. And since we’re month-to-month, you can walk away at any time after that — no questions, no drama. Your satisfaction is the only thing that keeps us employed.
