With over 35 years in the financial sector — including 25 years specializing in merchant processing — Robert brings a depth of expertise shaped by both frontline experience and back-office strategy. He is widely regarded as a national authority, recognized by The National Credit Association, The Credit Research Foundation, Credit Today, Riemer+, Coleman Research Group, and DeMatteo Monness. His insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, The Washington Business Journal, Yahoo Finance, BusinessWeek, and more. He has also appeared on Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates, and shared the stage with Steve Forbes at the 2014 New York Financial Summit.

Robert writes regularly for Forbes and Entrepreneur Magazine, covering credit card processing overbillings, financial transparency, and business strategy. He is a member of the Forbes Business Council and a graduate of The Wharton School. 

Outside his professional work, Robert has served in leadership and board roles for numerous organizations, including The National Association of Credit Management (Gateway Region), Haitians Helping Haitians, Serve Saint Louis, Destiny Church (Finance Board), Grace Christian School, House of Zadok, Heaven Born, and Vertical Fellowship (Finance Board). 

Throughout his career, Robert has earned multiple accolades, including the President’s Award from Fifth Third Processing Solutions (now Worldpay) in 2007 and recognition as a semifinalist for STL Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013. Under his leadership, weAudit.com received the prestigious BBB Torch Award for Exceptional Ethics and Service in 2019.

In 2023, Robert published The Great American Heist – How Credit Card Processors Steal Businesses’ Profits (with a foreword by Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank fame), offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how businesses are overbilled — a definitive guide to protecting profits in an unregulated industry.
