Business Track Is Now Commerce Control Center
How to sign in, how to set up access, and how to download your merchant statements. Then the part the portal will not tell you: what to look for once the PDF is open.
If you just need to sign in
Type the address yourself. The Business Track page now reads that Business Track is Commerce Control Center, and signs you in there with your existing User ID.
Forgot your User ID? There is a link for it on the same sign-in screen.

Fiserv’s score on the weAudit Processor Scoreboard. Its weakest categories are Fee Practices and Contract Terms, at 4 out of 25, and Complaints and Resolution, at 3 out of 20.
- Three across-the-board rate increases in nine months, documented on Fiserv merchant accounts.
- Fees with official-sounding names. Charges such as the regulatory product fee and PCI service fees are Fiserv’s own, not the card networks’.
- Lawsuits from its own investors. The 2025 securities class actions allege fraud, and at the center of them is a merchant story.
The short version
- Business Track is Fiserv’s online portal for merchant accounts processed through Fiserv, formerly First Data. It is now called Commerce Control Center.
- ClientLine is the reporting application inside it. That is where the monthly statements are.
- You can sign in at businesstrack.com with your existing User ID. New users enroll with the business Tax ID.
- Your statement downloads as a PDF under Statements, then Summary and Documents, then Monthly Statements.
- Download twelve months and keep them outside the portal. The next sections explain why.
Four names on one front door
Most of the confusion around this portal comes from the names. Fiserv’s own merchant support pages now say that Business Track and ClientLine Enterprise have become Commerce Control Center, with a new sign-in experience and address. But thousands of bank pages, software help centres and old welcome letters still use the earlier names, so merchants search for all of them.
| Name you may see | What it refers to | Where you will meet it |
|---|---|---|
| Business Track | The portal itself, the account you sign in to | Old welcome kits, businesstrack.com, bank merchant guides |
| ClientLine | The reporting application: statements, deposits, transaction detail | Software partner help pages, older statements |
| ClientLine Enterprise | The later version of that reporting application | Menu labels inside the portal, Fiserv support pages |
| Commerce Control Center | The current name for the whole portal | The sign-in screen today, Fiserv and bank pages updated recently |
| Your bank’s name on it | The same portal under a bank’s branding | Stanford’s finance office calls it formerly Wells Fargo Business Track; PNC markets it as Commerce Control Center with Business Track |
If a bank sold you your merchant account, there is a good chance Fiserv processes it behind the scenes, and this is your portal even though Fiserv’s name is nowhere on your paperwork. The same is true of many accounts sold by independent sales organisations. Our Fiserv rating covers who Fiserv is and how it treats merchants.
How to sign in, and what to do when you cannot
- Type businesstrack.com into your browser rather than clicking a result. Several login-directory sites rank for “business track login” and are not run by Fiserv.
- Enter your User ID on the Commerce Control Center sign-in screen and follow the prompts.
- If you have forgotten the User ID, use the Forgot User ID link on the same screen.
- If you are still locked out, call the number on your own merchant statement first. The bank or company that sold you the account may run its own support line. The general Business Track helpdesk number published in bank and partner guides is 800-285-3978.
If the person who set up the login has left the company, do not wait until you need a statement to fix it. Ask for a new named user for yourself now, while there is nothing urgent riding on it.
Setting up access for the first time
If nobody at your business has ever enrolled, you can usually do it yourself. Software partners that walk their merchants through it describe the same short process.
- From the sign-in page, choose Enroll, then Begin Enrollment.
- Fill in the business details. You will need the business Tax ID. The bank short code field can usually be left blank.
- Accept the terms and select ClientLine Reporting as an application.
- Create your login and password. ClientLine access is typically immediate; other applications can take about a day to switch on.
Some banks handle this differently. Stanford’s finance office, for example, has departments request access through a support ticket and then receive a login and temporary password by email. If self-enrollment fails, ask whoever services your account.
How to download your merchant statement
This is the reason most people sign in. Fiserv’s own support page gives the current path:
- Sign in to Commerce Control Center.
- Find Statements in the left navigation.
- Select Summary and Documents.
- From the dropdown, choose Monthly Statements.
- Choose the statement type, statement view and year.
- Click Search.
- Select the month. The statement opens as a PDF.
If your screen still shows the older layout, the statements sit under Applications, then ClientLine Enterprise, then Statements, then Summary and Documents. With more than one location, pick the location from the dropdown before you pick the month.
What else the portal does
Disputes and chargebacks
Dispute Manager lets you receive, view and respond to chargebacks online rather than by mail or fax. If you process card-not-present sales, check it regularly; response windows are short and a missed deadline is a lost dispute.
Alerts
You can switch on email alerts for new disputes, next-day sales and funding, and statement availability. The statement-available alert is worth turning on, because it is the only thing that will prompt anyone to open the statement.
Your 1099-K
Fiserv’s instructions: sign in, scroll to Tax Information, and choose Form 1099-K eConsent to receive it electronically. Keep your Tax ID current here too. A mismatch between the name and Tax ID on file can trigger IRS backup withholding on your deposits, and some bank guides warn of a monthly fee until it is corrected.
Paid upgrades
Fiserv also sells an upgraded tier called Commerce Control Enhanced, with extra monitoring, fraud controls and bulk statement data. If a reporting, portal or online access fee appears on your statement, find out which tier it is paying for and whether anyone asked for it.
Before you turn on PassKey encryption
Fiserv has been urging merchants to enable PassKey encryption on ClientLine. It can leave a single person as the only one able to open the business’s statements, which locks out your bookkeeper, your controller and anyone reviewing your fees. Read what PassKey encryption actually changes before you agree to it.
Pull twelve months, not one
The portal holds your history, but it is the processor’s copy, on the processor’s system, behind a login one person usually controls. Download the last twelve statements and store them somewhere your business owns. There are two practical reasons.
First, access breaks. People leave, logins lapse, portals get renamed and rebuilt. A statement you saved last year is one you never have to ask for.
Second, statements change. In our audits we see statement formats changed after an account is boarded, and often around the same time the pricing gets worse. You can not dispute what you don’t see, and a new layout makes it very hard to see a change by memory alone. With the old PDFs saved, you can put them side by side.
One merchant’s processor rate, moved inside a single Fiserv monthly statement, visible only by reading one section against another. The full evidence is in Fiserv fees: what your statement shows, and what it hides.
Three things to look at once the PDF is open
Most merchants download the statement, check the total and close it. These three checks take a few minutes and do not require knowing what every line means.
Is the fee detail even printed?
Some Fiserv statements itemise every fee. On others the fee section has been switched off and the charges arrive as one number. If yours shows a total and nothing underneath, you cannot check it.
Do the rates match each other?
Compare the rates in the fees charged section with any rates in the pending or upcoming charges section. A rate that differs between the two is a price change, whether or not anyone told you.
Does it match your bank?
Fees are often swept from your bank account as a single debit with a cryptic label. The statement is the itemised version of that number. If you have been puzzling over a debit such as BANKCARD MTOT DISC, this PDF is where it is explained.
When you want to know what a specific line is, look it up in the statement decoder, which explains each fee in plain English, including which ones come from the card networks and which ones do not. To see a full statement taken apart, try the merchant statement example.
Common questions
Is Business Track the same as Commerce Control Center?
Yes. Fiserv renamed Business Track and ClientLine Enterprise to Commerce Control Center and moved sign-in to a new experience. Your statements, reports and dispute tools now live there. Many bank and reseller pages still use the old names, which is why both names keep turning up.
What is the Business Track login address?
Type businesstrack.com into your browser yourself. The page now reads that Business Track is Commerce Control Center and takes you to that sign-in. Avoid reaching it through login-directory websites that sit in the search results, since those are not operated by Fiserv.
What is ClientLine?
ClientLine is the reporting application inside the portal. It is where monthly statements, deposit reports and transaction detail are kept. You will also see it called ClientLine Enterprise, and some banks brand it under their own name.
How do I get my merchant statement from Business Track?
Sign in to Commerce Control Center, open Statements in the left navigation, choose Summary and Documents, pick Monthly Statements, set the statement type, view and year, click Search, then select the month. The statement downloads as a PDF. If you have several locations, choose the location first.
Who do I call if I cannot sign in?
Start with the customer service number printed on your own merchant statement, because the bank or company that sold you the account may run its own support line. The Business Track helpdesk number published in bank and software-partner guides is 800-285-3978.
Should I give my accountant or auditor my login?
No. Send the statements, not the credentials. A PDF is all an accountant or auditor needs. If someone needs ongoing access, set them up as their own named user so you can remove them later without changing your own password.
Why does my statement look different from last year?
Statement formats can be changed after an account is boarded, and in our experience the change often lands around the same time the pricing gets worse. Keep your own copies of past statements so you can compare the old layout with the new one line by line.
Send us the statement. We will tell you what is in it.
We never need your portal login. Download a recent statement from Commerce Control Center, send us the PDF, and our free audit will show you what you are paying and whether it is right.
